I was down in Reno shopping with Mel and MD for Sarah's 40th b-day gift and upon returning a mi casa I walked in my door to see this:



C had left me a grand surprise of glads, callas, cherries, palmiers & the newest Gourmet mag. Such a treat to open the door and see this all laid out.

Then this catches my eye...YUM!

Day #2
The reason for us planning our getaway was Robyn & Milt's early b-day gift to Christine...tickets to watch their team beat her team.






At least we got dogs...

Central Coast/Bay Area #2

After visiting the aquarium, we drove around for ~2 hrs. looking for a decent place for two hungry/thirsty gals to order some oysters and beer. (Note: This place is NOT FISH HOPPER!)

Upon checking into our hotel, we immediately donned our suits and hit the rooftop hot tub. This was so well-deserved...



Followed by some cheese and crackers on the patio team w/ wine and a street fight (of sorts) Then we prettied up and headed out for the best meal you can find in Monterey....Monterey Fish House!

Oysters as big as your face!


Nearing the end of our 2.5 hr feast. Thanks to Sal for taking such good care of us two crazy mountain girls!

Central Coast/Bay Area

C & I escaped the mountain and took a 3-day vacation in Monterey, San Fran & San Rafael. Ah, that salty area does wonders for the mind, body and soul.
