I'm Hungry!

And stumbling across Anchor & Hope isn't helping matters. The latest creation from the partnership of Doug Washington, Mitchell & Steve Rosenthal appears to be giving its sibling, Town Hall and Salt House, a run for their money.

The restaurant, located at 85 Minna St. in San Fran, serves in an open space with a 30-foot trestle ceiling, a dining room that seats 75 and a 35-foot long zinc dining counter.

Choosing from their menu options would be incredibly tough as I would want to start out with a hefty sampling of their 9 oyster varieties then dig into bites of...

Appetizers:
Anchor & Hope Chowder
White Corn & Little Neck Clams

Angels on Horseback
Smoked Bacon Wrapped Clams

Cracked Sichuan Peppers Prawns
Broccoli di Cicco, Garlic, Lime

Fish:
Spicy Mussel & Monkfish Stew
Saffron, Monkfish, Chorizo

Anchor & Hope Lobster Roll
Old Bay Spirce Kettle Chips, Sea Salt

Roasted Stuffed Lobster
Horseradish Bearnaise

Desserts don't seem that thrilling but by the time I am finishing savoring all the seafood & brininess I can muster, I doubt I will have a desire for additional decadence.
