Fluttering on summer breezes

The month-long rain has finally broken and the summer sun is shining down. Warm breezes are floating across my patio and into my windows. What better to catch those gusts than these whisper-soft lounge pieces courtesy of Plum Pretty Sugar...

Most of the cotton voile fabric was discovered in India during PSS's travels and are ideal for weekend's spent sipping coffee and singing duets with Madeleine Peyroux.
Happy Weekend to you!

Winter Wind Web Wares

I hear it. I hear you people on the East coast and in the Midwest and well, pretty much anywhere south of me saying "Spring is here!" I must ask that you have a little consideration for those of us in the mountain regions who, while we are experiencing lovely lovely sunny days, are still feeling the winter.

As the days grow longer and the air warms slightly, I am digging into my season transition wardrobe. Warmer but less bulkier pieces, something to snuggle into but that doesn't make me look like Randy from A Christmas Story. Imagine my delight when I came across LittleHouses Clothing on Etsy.

I love the asymmetry, the up-the-side buttons, the cotton/poly blend and of course, those lovely loose collars. LittleHouses is promising a soon-to-be released spring collection and I am biting at the bit.

Critter Crazed Web Wares

I'm critter crazy today. It started with this:("Wise guy, eh?")

and then this:
("I go out walkin' after midnight, out in the moonlight...")

Before you know it I was in a rabid frenzy digging up critters. Fortunately for me, I found Sharon Montrose and her candid pics on Etsy. Most of her subjects are residents at a small zoo in Cali and she has me ooh-ing and aww-ing...

Web Wares for Wittle Wones

Miss Robyn is about 6 weeks from her due date and as her belly continues to grow and the arrival of Cash/Mason/Parker/Esteban Hyams nears, I can't seem to divert my attention from baby goods.

I first spotted Studio Mela aka dazeychic on We Heart It. Her So Very Happy print graced my computer background, my Gtalk avatar, good ol' Yes, Please! and anywhere else I could put it.

In visiting her site over the past few weeks, I could help but think about fantastic her prints would be hanging in a nursery or child's bedroom.

Visit Studio Mela via these routes:

So excited to see one more little face join this lovely bunch:

Silhoutte Blue for you

When I first caught sight of Silhoutte Blue's "4-Ever" print, I was instantly whisked back to my first book love, The Giving Tree. The print is so sweet and tender. Now, I am on the look-out for couples getting hitched....
After my "awws" ended, I browsed the rest of SB's Etsy shop and realized that the greatness doesn't end with this sweet print...

About:
Founded, owned and operated by Megan Nutley, Silhouette Blue began as a senior art project in May of 2006 and has since expanded into a full line of greeting cards and custom wedding invitations. Inspired by vintage photography, Silhouette Blue offers creative cards for many occasions and unique custom stationery. Situated in her apartment and studio in Forest Park, Illinois, Megan designs and assembles all her greeting cards and custom wedding invitations entirely by hand.

Wednesday Wares via locallibrary

I've recently found myself being drawn to necklaces more than ever before. And while my past interests have been more substantial in size and character, the new items that delight me are delicate, simple and sweet statements. Pieces that evoke an emotion of being fragile and precious.

This week I have found myself unable to stop thinking about locallibrary by Lauren Haupt. These neckarts are ideal counterparts for every item in your wardrobe and for every day on your calendar.

Lauren's also a blogger (surprise surprise):http://bananaheadpancake.blogspot.com/ and has an non-Etsy site: http://laurenhaupt.com/

Sarah Jane's Wednesday Web Wares

I can't quite remember where or when I stumbled across Sarah Jane's illustrations but I have loved them since first sight.

Their delicate, sweet, images and display of simply love and joy always have a calming nature. According to her Etsy site, Sarah Jane has been illustrating the world around her since she can remember. And now, as a Mommy of two, her children are her world. Thus, Sarah Jane: Illustrating Childhood™ was born. While her works are obviously perfect suited to children's rooms, they are also sweet enough to share between friends or frame for a special spot in your home. Here are the ones that make me most gushy:
